We are seeking a **Scheduler **to work in our longstanding contract with Defence the Victoria region, based in **Simpson Barracks**, Yallambie.

You will be responsible for providing effective assistance and support to the operation and management of all services to a Defence site in support of the Estate upkeep team, ensuring the service outcome is met effectively, efficiently and to the performance and quality standards required by the contract.

**Duties**:

- Ensuring compliance with Ventia and contract specific quality assurance and safety programs at the same time promoting a continuous improvement philosophy.
- Ensuring maintenance activities are planned and scheduled including confirming all documentation is uploaded to facilitate claiming.
- Coordinating resources including trade utilization and equipment to achieve contract objectives.
- Coordinating resources of subcontractors, including performance monitoring and work allocation.
- Completing KPI and other reporting within required timeframes.
- where necessary escalating corrective actions required to maintain quality and timing of supply in accordance with respective agreements.

**About you**:

- Good knowledge of Defence facilities maintenance or similar Facilities Management environment.
- Possess qualifications relevant to planning and scheduling or equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience in conducting planning and scheduling activities within a complex maintenance environment, including working with trade staff, coordinating repair parts and other resources.
- Tertiary qualifications in construction, engineering, quantity surveying or similar will be highly regarded.
- Demonstrated experience in managing customer service and customer expectations.
- Excellent oral and written skills with a strong customer service focus.
- Well-developed computer skills in Microsoft and SAP or similar.

You must be an Australian Citizen and have the ability to maintain a Defence clearance in order to be eligible for these positions, as well as be able to pass an Australian Federal Police Check and Medical Pre-Employment Checks as required by the contract.
