Production Supervisor

**Introduction**:
Sunbeam and Angas Park have been at the forefront of the Australian Dried Fruit Industry for many years dedicated to the growing, processing, packaging and sales of dried fruits. We operate as a wholesaler into Australian retail, industrial and export markets around the world.
We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Production Supervisor to join the team based in Loxton, South Australia.
**Description**:
Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing and coordinating the daily function of the site
- Management of permanent and seasonal casual staff
- Complete basic maintenance on site and engage external contractors for larger repairs and projects
- Supervision, development and coaching of staff, including proactive staff performance
- Managing quality control of incoming and outgoing product
- Controlling inventory and undertaking reporting, ensuring stock inwards/outwards is managed accurately and with a high degree of urgency
- Relationships - ensuring partnerships and obligations with customers and suppliers are managed professionally and diligently
- Compliance management - transport regulations - chain of responsibility, WHS and industrial relations requirements
- Assist in developing, implementing and improving efficiencies and procedures
- Communicate with the administrative and operations staff to share information to meet company objectives

Qualifications/Experience
- Strong leadership skills, including the capability to drive efficiency and improvement
- Basic mechanical and/or electrical maintenance skills. Or a willingness to undertake training and development
- Be proficient in the use of Microsoft programs, warehouse systems and be willing/able to learn and adapt to new technology
- Have a strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy at a high performing level
- Proven experience in warehouse and/or production activities
- Ability to negotiate and communicate with both internal and external stakeholders
- Have sound time management skills, and the ability to anticipate business needs
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role dealing with fruit quality, processing and storage would be an advantage
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Hold a current motor vehicle and forklift license
