- Provide strategic leadership to the nursing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and excellence.
- Oversee day-to-day nursing operations, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory standards.

**Person-Centred Care**:

- Champion the delivery of high-quality, compassionate, and person-centred care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance the overall resident experience.

**Staff Development**:

- Mentor and guide nursing staff, promoting professional growth and ensuring a supportive working environment.
- Facilitate ongoing education and training programs to keep the team abreast of the latest healthcare advancements.

**Continuous Improvement**:

- Implement and monitor continuous improvement initiatives to maintain the highest standards of care.
- Conduct regular assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective measures.

**Collaborative Communication**:

- Foster open communication channels between nursing staff, medical professionals, and other departments.
- Collaborate with senior management to align nursing strategies with overall organisational goals.

**About You**

To be considered for this role you will have:

- Registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
- Effectively supervise and lead a team of carers and nurses by demonstrating our core values.
- Keenness and understanding of dealing with business situations in a manner that leads to a positive impact on the facility
- A passion to provide holistic nursing care, assisting residents to experience a greater level of independence and improved quality of life
- Flexible in responding to changing resident needs
- Positive and enthusiastic attitude
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
- A current and valid NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Knowledge of and interest in best practice dementia care and a thorough understanding of resident engagement essential
