**Position: Communications Specialist (Temp role)**

**What You'll Do**:
- **Enhance Our Brand**: Maintain a consistent and professional image across all Shire communications, ensuring our community knows and trusts our voice.
- **Content Creation & Management**: Dive into creating compelling content for media releases, speeches, our Community Update Page, web content, and more, while managing the scheduling and distribution of these communications.
- **Support Digital Initiatives**: Provide essential support to our Communications Officer in digital content management and strategic digital campaigns.
- **Promote Our Community**: Utilize your skills in publicity and marketing to boost awareness and engagement for the Shire's events and activities across various channels.
- **Strategic Communication Planning**: Develop and implement communication plans that magnify the impact of our projects, enhancing community awareness and participation.
- **Design and Creativity**: Lend your graphic design talents to the production of eye-catching marketing collateral, from adverts to flyers.
- **Collaborative Relationships**: Build and maintain strong relationships across the organization to achieve strategic communications goals.
