Butcher

We are offering an immediate start for a casual butcher with potential to become permanent following a 3-month trial. Location will be at Circle T Meats, Raceview. Minimum 38 hours.

Qualified Butcher in Meat Processing or 3rd year apprentice.

Retail experience

Excellent customer service & counter experience essential

Driver's licence preferred

Tasks & responsibilities

Experience in the meat industry; general butchering
- including cutting, boning, slicing, trimming, and portioning skills

Value adding and presentation of meat counters

Customer service skills and professional attitude to work

You will be responsible for mixing, filling and linking sausages

Preparing crumbed cuts of meat, and marinating, seasoning and curing special cuts

operating machines to grind, mix, mince and tenderise meat

operating sausage filling machines, smoking chambers, and cooking kettles and vats

Ability to adhere to workplace health, safety, and quality assurance procedures

Self-driven and motivated

Following successful probation period, employee will become permanent

Schedule:
