We currently have an opportunity for Part Time Cleaner. Join our Government and Integrated Facilities Management team and play a key role in keeping public areas clean and promoting a positive image of the site to visitors. Reporting to the Public Realm Supervisor, you'll help deliver high-quality outcomes that support our essential services. **What You’ll Do (key responsibilities)** This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including: - Waste removal - picking up rubbish, emptying bins, removing sharps & contaminated waste - Floor maintenance - sweeping, mopping, using scrubbers/polishers - Detail Cleaning & washing - low & high reach areas, fixtures, fittings, windows, vents & walls - Public Realm Areas - entrances & car park thorough fares - Ensuring that cleaning tasks are completed to established cleaning standards **What You’ll Bring (experience required)** - Experience in commercial/industrial cleaning domain is preferred - Excellent written & verbal communication skills - Exceptional personal presentation - Must have Australian Driver’s License - Experience operating cleaning equipment such as ride-on scrubber, sweeper, walk behind buffing machines preferred - More than anything, you’ll bring a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes for our clients.**Why Downer?** At Downer, we plan, create, and sustain essential public services across Australia and New Zealand.
