As part of this transformation, Novartis is offering a newly created role called the Patient Adherence Lead within the In Market function.
As the Patient Adherence Lead, your responsibilities will include overseeing all interactions, program management, operational workflow, process excellence, and achievement of business objectives for assigned programs, accounts, and vendors.
Your primary focus will be ensuring day-to-day operational excellence and quality interaction with patients and healthcare professionals. In this role, you will also be instrumental in designing and implementing performance metrics linked to service level agreements.
You will lead business review sessions with external partner companies, develop future plans, and drive continuous improvement through innovative thinking and practical approaches to delivering service offerings.
Specific responsibilities of the Patient Adherence Lead include:
- Working cross-functionally with Patient and Specialty Services, Managed Markets, Commercial, and other functional areas to understand service value drivers and key business objectives. This involves optimizing development services, delivery models, and program implementation.
- Implementing streamlined and efficient operational processes to provide seamless and best-in-class solutions.
- Executing pre-defined programs and metrics to increase consistency and speed of implementation.
- Establishing and leading a cross-functional advisory board to develop and implement new or improved patient services offerings.
- Performing quarterly operational business reviews to identify program success and opportunities for improvement.
- Coordinating with Novartis stakeholders to anticipate events and their impact on the business and patient services activities.
- Project managing program implementation through the entire development process, from planning to design, build, launch, and maintenance.
- Continuously evaluating program processes and suggesting improvements to service flow.
- Acting as the primary point of contact for account and vendor management, ensuring day-to-day operations are managed according to key performance indicators (KPIs), contractual service level agreements (SLAs), and quality standards.
- Coordinating and aligning other vendor activities that influence account processes.
- Managing contract and/or task order discussions with internal and external business partners to ensure agreed-upon terms are accurately reflected.
- Managing any changes to patient services communication and materials, such as scripts, forms, letters, etc.
- Communicating customer insights and account-related activities to internal stakeholders and engaging with them to pursue business opportunities within assigned accounts.

**Role Requirements**:
What you’ll bring:
- Strong and proven account management skills, business partnership and consulting skills, and program management experience.
- Good understanding of overall brand positioning, strategy, and the role of specialty services in the overall strategy.
- Knowledge of pharmacy distribution models, specialty pharmacy capabilities, and managed markets is important.
- The ability to analyse data and provide insights into reporting metrics.
- Skilled in project management and have a good understanding of quality assessments, controls, and KPI tracking.
