**ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY**:
The Team Member - Premium Parks will undertake a range of activities that deliver specialist services in the maintenance of Council’s golf courses, ensuring these open spaces are in excellent condition, safe and suitable for use by members and the community. This role will assist in ensuring customer and community satisfaction with golf course operations.

The successful applicant will require:

- Relevant experience and demonstrated understanding of turf maintenance and industry best-practice within the section of parks operations appointed to
- Demonstrated experience operating turf related small plant and equipment
- Demonstrated ability to deal in a positive and courteous manner with the public and other workers.
- Good verbal and written communication skills - ability to write clearly and neatly when completing necessary paperwork
- Ability to work as part of a team with good interpersonal skills
- Competency in the operation of at least one or more of the following items of plant:

- Large Tractors
- Front-deck or mid-mount mowers
- Basic Computer Skills and aptitude to adapt and learn new electronic systems and operate a range of devices including iPad
- Current Class C Drivers Licence
- General Construction Card (White Card)
- Hold a current ‘Chemcert’ (Chemical Handling) qualification.

**Position information**: This is a permanent, full-time position, working a 35 hour week, with access to Council's 9 day fortnight Rostered Day Off (RDO) arrangement.

This role is predominantly located at Council's Woodville Golf Course, with occasional travel required across Council worksites, and may be required to work across any of Council’s work locations.

**Salary information**: The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with the NSW Local Government (State) Award.
- Grade 5 of the Cumberland Salary Structure with a salary range of $1,037.09 to $1,192.65 per week, plus 10.5% superannuation
- The commencing salary will be negotiated, taking into consideration the successful applicant's qualifications, skills and experience related to the role
