**About the role**

This is a full time and an entry-level role if you are looking to develop your career in a closely-knit education environment.

The Education Services Advisor is responsible for supporting the Education Manager to ensure efficiency of the teaching and learning cycle for Ikon students and faculty, providing advice and information support to lecturers, teaching assistants and students regarding the Institute; education policy and procedures; teaching and learning management systems; student experience activities and education support services and developing collaborative relationships with Student Services and functioning as a channel of communication between the Education and Student Services teams.

You are positive, detail-oriented individual who is part of a small team. You have great attention to detail, well-developed problem-solving skills, including the ability to liaise with relevant stakeholders to achieve resolution and the ability to manage time effectively to work to completing deadlines.

You are passionate about delivering excellent customer service. This role is critical in providing friendly, informative, and quality customer service to our staff as well as ensuring the overall faculty delivery of the Institute’s timetable at a national level.

You have strong communication skills, ability to multitask along with using the Microsoft Office suite and other standard software is of course crucial to the success of this administration role.

You will preferably have some prior experience in education services in a related and relevant industry.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Act as the primary point of contact for the academic faculty
- Assist with delivering timely and accurate faculty staffing for timetables across all campuses
- Track, record, and report cases of student plagiarism
- Record-keeping of scholarly activities, qualifications and professional development of all faculty staff
- Collaborate on the maintenance of the learning management system.
- Maintain shared calendar of leave days and travel of faculty
- Assist with student extensions review process
- Organise RPL for students, as received from the Student Experience TEam
- Collaborate with the Student Experience Team to organise RPL for students, special considerations and extensions.
- Induction of new faculty
- Release of marks in CANVAS
- Act as the first point of escalation for day-to-day operational matters related to the Education services or CANVAS.
- Assist with the records management
- Maintain confidentiality regarding all faculty and student data, personal, financial, administration and course related records, and other documents
- Adhere to and following company policies and procedures
- Engage in other duties as reasonably directed by your manager, or by request through your manager from the Heads of School or Dean.

**Education, Experience, and Skills**
- One (1) or more years of experience in a relevant industry and/or have equivalent qualifications and/or professional experience
- Demonstrable organisational and planning skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise to ensure successful completion of all responsibilities and tasks
- Excellent numeracy, oral and written communication skills
- Proactive work habits with a demonstrated eye for detail
- IT literacy particularly Microsoft Office environment
- Highly developed interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Digital literacy skills in teaching and learning management systems, particularly Canvas.
- Sound knowledge of equal opportunity, equity and workplace health and safety principles and ability to implement them at an operational level.
- Understanding of academic services, having worked in an education environment.
- Preferably holds a bachelor's degree
