**The Opportunity**
We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the team in the role of **Farm Hand** on a fulltime basis and will be based at our Balliang - Victoria location.
Reporting to the Farm Manager, key responsibilites will include:
- Feed runs
- Driving straw machine/manually putting straw into accommodations
- Moving huts around the site
- Moving pigs across the site by trailer
- Artificial insemination
- Maintaining a high-quality environment for the welfare and well-being of our animals
- Clean accommodation pens, fittings and equipment
- Tend to routine husbandry of all stock
- Move, draft and weigh stock
- Care for sick and/or injured animals
- Administer medications when required
**What We’re Looking For**
SunPork Group has established an efficient, highly skilled yet diversified team that is dedicated to producing high quality, sustainable welfare-optimal products.
As a key member of this team, the successful applicant must:
Preferably have animal experience, but not essential
- Current driver’s licence
- Tractor licence (desirable)
- Be committed to upholding the highest levels of animal welfare and biosecurityBe committed to training and professional development
- Have a positive attitude toward the intrinsic values of trust, integrity, quality, efficiency and innovation
- Availability to work rostered weekends and public holidays
- Be physically fit and able to cope with the physical demands of the role
- Machinery skills would be an advantage

**Salary**: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
