VRA is an Australian Joint Venture that delivers a range of advanced defence systems and Guided Weapons to the Australian Defence Force and currently requires the skills of a Senior Defence Logistics Practitioner / ILS Manager with broad understanding of all stages of the ILS lifecycle.

**You will be responsible for**:

- Developing the Integrated Logistic Support Concept (ILSC) and Integrated Logistic Support Plan (ILSP) artefacts, as well as the range of associated tasks and CDRL items.
- Engaging with engineering and capability management and CASG stakeholders to elicit and align project milestones.
- Establishing advanced training and simulation frameworks.
- Assisting in the development and execution of logistics elements for test and evaluation activities,
- Identifying risks and opportunities associated with ILS disciplines,

**You will**:

- Liaise with various project delivery, capability development, CASG, executive management and third party supplier stakeholders and have the ability to collaborate effectively with all.
- Enjoy an autonomous mandate, creating new frameworks and structuring ILS outcomes tailored to the Australian Defence customer.
- Have inherent flexibility within a dynamic workplace in which integrity is as valued as technical professionalism, pragmatism and good humour.
- Have demonstrated commercial experience.
- Have suitable technical abilities to process significant volumes of data and information and collate these into actionable ILS deliverables

Given the sensitive nature of the role and advanced systems environment, the Defence ILS Manager must be an Australian citizen and will be required to obtain or preferably hold an active Australian security clearance to NV1 status.
