**About the role**:
The IT and Compliance Analyst will assist in the development and management of IT security policies, IT risk management related processes and tool and compliance assurance program to ensure Officeworks complies with its data security related compliance obligations (PCI, Privacy etc.) and assist in managing technology related risks and the IT Security awareness and education program. You will produce regular high quality reporting (technical, management and board reporting) in timely manner. You will assist in the implementation of required changes to meet regulatory and compliance obligations (e.g. PCI-DSS requirements).

**About you**:
You will possess:

- At least 2 years IT Security experience - ideally Retail Industry exposure
- Experience working with senior business leaders
- Demonstrated experience in the development of IT Risk Management Framework
- Exposure in a large complex environment managing multiple sites
- Significant experience in IT Security disciplines, frameworks and methodologies ie. ISO. NIST, COBIT
- Significant experience in performing information and technical risk assessments
- Experience working with key legislative, regulatory and industry-based obligations (e.g. PCI-DSS, Privacy Act)

You will have:

- Pragmatic approach to technical IT Security, understanding business objectives and value
- Understanding of the current and emerging technology and their potential business impact
- Strong communication, presentation, stakeholder engagement and relationship building skills
- Ability to present complex technical and security information into simple, business language
- Strong customer focus and ability to consult with both business and technology stakeholders
- Good negotiation and conflict resolution skills, enabling key issues to be resolved in the most appropriate manner
- Ability to clearly manage expectations
- Good Planning and organisational skills
- High Integrity and honesty
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Must show initiative, innovation and creativity
- Strong attention to detail
