**About the Centre**:
Buttercups Mindarie is an exciting, brand new Centre in Perth's northern suburbs. With great opportunity to work with modern resources and equipment to develop meaningful relationships from day one, and assist with the care of children and families.

**The Opportunity**:
A Room Leader must provide a high quality educational program in a fun, safe, warm and positive environment. For the right applicants they may also have the opportunity to act as a Responsible Person at times when the Centre Manager is absent from the Centre, assuming responsibility for the day-to-day operation and administration ensuring the provision of high quality early childhood education and care to children and their families. The right person will also be required to be flexible in their full time working hours and be able to share the role of opening and closing of the Centre.

The position reports to the Centre’s Manager or Educational Leader, who is responsible for overseeing the successful operation of the Centre and implementing the strategic direction set by the Executive Management.

**What you’ll bring**:

- Relevant Qualifications as approved by the Australian Children's Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA)
- A thorough understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework
- National Quality Standards is essential
- Experience in leadership and mentoring skills
- You must hold a current, First Aid certificate, WWCC, up to date immunisation and Police Clearance

**Desirables**:

- Good computer skills
- Previously held the position of Responsible Person
- Food Safety Certificate

**Salary**: $30.00 - $34.00 per hour

- Hammond Park, WA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- National Police Clearance (preferred)
- Diploma in Childrens Services (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Work Location: In person
