Maintenance Handyperson

RASHAYS is on the lookout for a Maintenance Handyperson, reporting to the Head of Maintenance you will be responsible for ensuring that the warehouse and RASHAYS restaurants are up to date with any essential, planned or unplanned maintenance and that the works are completed in a timely manner.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Reviewing all maintenance tickets and assisting the Head of maintenance with jobs
- Recording all maintenance jobs and the resolution through the online system
- Checking tools and equipment to ensure they are working and ready for use
- Assisting warehouse staff with installation and repair of equipment
- Replace faulty or damaged fixtures, machinery, building works
- Cleaning equipment and site after work is completed
- Visiting restaurants and performing maintenance tasks
- Minor repairs to warehouse/restaurants
- Undertaking general repairs and maintenance as well as preventative maintenance (basic plumbing, air conditioning service and repairs)
- Working in a safe manner at all times

**Skills Criteria**
- Experience in a relevant trade
- Hand and power tools experience is a must
- Previous experience in a similar position
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
- Highly responsible & reliable
- The ability to work both unsupervised and in a team
- Attention to detail
- Able to travel interstate if needed to visit RASHAYS restaurants
