Join us at an exciting time of growth This is a newly created role for a General Manager, Asset Management, to lead and shape our Asset Management team, driving performance, innovation, and strategic outcomes. **Key Responsibilities**:
- You will manage a team of Asset Managers, ensuring alignment with Fund/Mandate clients' goals and providing strategic oversight to optimise asset returns and mitigate risks.
- Lead, coach, and develop the Asset Management team to foster a high-performance culture focused on client satisfaction, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Serve as the trusted advisor to our Fund/Mandate clients, representing their best interests in asset management and ensuring strong relationships across all stakeholders.
- Oversee asset strategy development and execution, including leasing, capital expenditure, and sustainability (ESG) initiatives. Ensure that financial models, forecasts, and budgeting meet the objectives of the client.
- Work closely with Real Estate Services, Facilities, and Capital Works teams to deliver comprehensive strategies that meet the long-term goals of our clients.
- Champion strong governance and compliance practices, including WHS&E and ESG, ensuring alignment with internal and external regulations.
**What You'll Bring**:
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in property, real estate, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in leading and managing teams, with a minimum of 10 years in senior commercial property roles. Proven ability to develop and implement strategic asset management plans that drive performance and align with client goals.
- A track record of successfully managing multiple stakeholders, including clients, tenants, and internal teams, ensuring strong relationships and effective collaboration.
- Strong skills in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling, with the ability to interpret data and provide insights that support strategic decision-making.
- A proactive approach to driving continuous improvement and implementing best practices across asset management functions.
- Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to influence outcomes and build consensus across diverse teams and external partners.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to present complex information clearly to various stakeholders.
- Strong planning and organisational skills, learning agility, self-awareness, and the ability to stay focused under pressure.
