**About the role**
- As a Ranger, you will plan and deliver park services together with the Ranger Team Leader. You will undertake activities requiring a level of environmental and service expertise. A snapshot of works this role will be undertaking on a day to day basis: managing contractors, working with volunteers, inspecting the infrastructure in visitor sites, walking track clearing, managing weeds and pests, providing talks to groups, planning for road and visitor asset repairs, addressing concerns and customer complaints, developing work orders for field staff, writing news letters, looking after plant and equipment, liasing with other agencies and sometimes even a bit of grant writing.

**We're looking for someone with**:

- Demonstrated experience in self-management and supervisory skills.
- Demonstrated experience in customer service, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant level of knowledge of regulations and compliance procedures.
- Ability to work weekends if required.
