**The Role & Project**

MACA Infrastructure are seeking a committed
**Apprentice Heavy Diesel Fitter **to join our modern head office based in Dandenong South The position is a full-time role, assisting the team with the servicing, repair, and maintenance of heavy-duty mobile plant and equipment in a safe and timely manner.
**NO EXPERIENCE** is required as we offer training on the job for someone who is keen and eager to learn.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Assisting with completing mechanical repairs and maintenance of all plants and equipment to a satisfactory level.
- Assist with the diagnostics, problem solving and fault finding in a timely manner.
- Assist the Workshop Supervisor with maintaining records and plant maintenance registers.
- Ensuring all plants and equipment are compliant with industry and regulatory standards, rules, regulations, and statutory requirements (e.g licensing for lifting equipment, registration of pressure vessels).
- Maintain a safe, tidy, and compliant workplace including, but not limited to: Housekeeping, tooling, workshop areas, yards, and storage.
- Maintain relationship with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Monitor stock and supply of repair parts, consumables, GET, fuels, and oils.

**We are looking for**:

- Current driver’s license
- Must not have a qualification higher than a Cert IV.
- Commitment to safety in the workplace
- Experience in working independently.
- Intermediate computer literacy
- A team player who is highly motivated and able to work autonomously.
