Palliative Care Counsellor

Your role will include a wide variety of responsibilities and continual challenges to resolve. Your capabilities will be pushed and developed, providing stimulation, professional learning and personal growth.

Typically this role includes comprehensive assessment, and the planning of relevant interventions to improve palliative and end of life care. Along with developing a care plan in collaboration with the medical, nursing, community paramedic and allied health team.

This roles also assists with training and upskilling where required, within the palliative team.

**To be successful, you will require;**
- Tertiary qualifications in pyschology, counselling or social work;
- Registration with relevant governing body (if applicable);
- Current valid Victorian driver's licence;
- Ability to travel across the service delivery area;
- A current Working with Children Check (Employee) or willingness to obtain prior to appointment.
