**About the role**:
You will be scheduling, planning and running the daily production team.

This role also has responsibility for maintaining our HACCP, AQIS and other management systems.

You will also drive sustainable processes that improve the culture, environment, team performance and productivity.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead, train and motivate a medium-sized team to ensure efficient processing and packing of Octopus products.
- Maintain and Lead a safe and productive work environment.
- Collaborate with the production management team to plan production and monitor and adjust production as needed to meet demand.
- Maintain rigorous quality control checks to ensure the highest standards are met during all stages of processing.
- Ensure compliance to all seafood regulatory and legislative requirements such as HACCP, OH&S and AQIS.
- Strong and effective communication with key staff and senior management.
- Review, recommend and implement changes to systems, processes, and procedures to ensure best outcomes and continuous improvements.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term

**Salary**: From $80,000.00 per year
