IT Security Analyst

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Security Business Analyst to join our IT Security Function on a permanent basis. The Security Business Analyst will perform information security and process review to identify and develop business security and functional requirement specification.

Specific responsibilities for this role include:

- Develops and understanding of business goals and reframes risk discussions in business terms
- Prepare technical reports by collecting, analysing and summarising information and trends
- Researching and providing process improvement solutions within the IT security function
- Prepare project status reports and execute presentations as needed
- Interface with applicable internal and external departments to gather information and provide input on matters

To be successful in this role, you are expected to:

- Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the team, the IT department, across other business units and the Company
- Interact appropriately with others to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
- Satisfaction of key stakeholders
- Understanding the needs and requirements of complex Toll projects and program
- Effective communication skills, both written and oral
- Metric driven KPI’s to be discussed

Qualification:

- Tertiary qualification in information technology or cyber security
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in IT and or information security experience
- Exposure to IT security operations in a large enterprise or critical infrastructure environments
- Strong stakeholder management experience, particularly in liaising between Business and IT functions to initiate and implement the development, delivery, and support of solutions
- Working knowledge of SOCI Act, ITIL, privacy legislation, Essential Eight, NIST and ISO2700x
- In-depth understanding of security and analytical concepts
- Ability to create business cases with accurate cost and effort estimations
- Relevant industry cyber security certification highly regarded
