**Job Summary**:
The Ice Cream Cafe & Dessert Bar Manager will oversee the daily operations of the cafe, ensuring exceptional customer service, efficient operations, and a positive work environment. This role requires a hands-on leader with a passion for desserts, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage a team effectively.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Operations Management**:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the cafe, including opening and closing procedures.
- Ensure the cafe is clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times.
- Manage inventory, including ordering supplies, tracking stock levels, and minimizing waste.
- Maintain equipment and coordinate repairs or maintenance as needed.
- **Customer Service**:
- Ensure all customers receive exceptional service and a memorable experience.
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally and promptly.
- Train staff to deliver outstanding customer service and uphold the cafe’s standards.
- **Team Leadership**:
- Recruit, train, and supervise cafe staff, including servers, dessert preparers, and cleaners.
- Create staff schedules and manage time-off requests to ensure adequate coverage.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, motivating the team to achieve goals.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- **Menu & Product Development**:
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new and innovative ice cream flavors, desserts, and seasonal offerings.
- Ensure all products meet quality and presentation standards.
- Monitor food safety and hygiene practices to comply with health regulations.
- **Financial Management**:
- Manage the cafe’s budget, including tracking expenses and optimizing profitability.
- Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to increase revenue.
- Handle cash management, including daily cash reconciliations and bank deposits.
- **Marketing & Promotion**:
- Assist in developing and executing marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
- Plan and promote special events, such as seasonal menu launches or themed dessert nights.
- Maintain the cafe’s social media presence and engage with customers online.
**Qualifications**:
- Proven experience in a managerial role within a cafe, restaurant, or dessert-focused establishment.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for desserts, ice cream, and creating exceptional customer experiences.
- Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic financial management.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Culinary or hospitality management degree or certification.
- Experience in menu development and food costing.
- Familiarity with social media marketing and event planning.

Pay: $56,414.46 - $70,515.08 per year
