**What this opportunity involves**:
The Sustainability Analyst position is part of JLL’s Sustainability Services Team and will have a primary focus on the identification, development and implementation of environmental improvement projects across one of the largest owned and leased property portfolios in Australia.
You will play a key role in delivering JLL’s scope of service to support improved performance across aspects such as energy, emissions, water and waste. Working closely with the Sustainability Services Team and the clients’ stakeholders.
**An Overview of the role**:
Engaging and providing support to other JLL Account Teams to identify and implement improvement opportunities and support integration of sustainability into their core areas of responsibility
Developing project briefs/scopes, business cases and assessing payback periods, as part of funding submissions and/or to obtain project approvals
Monitoring and verifying the performance of environmental improvement projects, including reporting to stakeholders on project objectives and recommendations to support continuous improvement
Contributing to vendor procurement and ongoing vendor management by supporting the integration of sustainability principles
Contributing to the development and delivery of stakeholder training to support sustainability initiatives and drive increased awareness
Contributing to the delivery of other Sustainability Services Team responsibilities (as required), including utility management, budgets, data collation, analyse and reporting and environmental compliance
**Sounds like you? This is what we’re looking for**:
Tertiary qualifications in Science, Engineering or related field are desirable but not mandatory. Demonstrable experience within a similar role will be well regarded.
Proven experience working in environmental sustainability roles, including corporate sustainability, government or sustainability consulting within complex operating environments.
Demonstrated experience managing projects from conception to completion, including the development of project briefs and business cases
Ability to analyse and interpret data and develop clear and logical recommendations and strategies to support performance improvements
An understanding of property and building management will be well regarded.
Demonstrated ability to effectively engage and maintain constructive stakeholder relationships.
Proficient in the use of the MS Office product suite including Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook, particularly Excel with a knowledge of pivot tables, lookups, complex formulas, etc.
Practical approach to managing change in support of sustainability objectives.
Able to think and act strategically and tactically.
Ability to prioritise workload in a high pressure, deadline driven work environment.
Promotes open, constructive and collaborative relations with colleagues and clients.
