**Group Supply Chain Operations Specialist**

Exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Specialist to join The Star Entertainment to oversee our supply chain operation function to meet business requirements

In this role, you will be an influential individual working autonomously yet collaboratively, driving efficiencies, and delivering value for money from Supplier negotiations evidenced by cost reductions. The ability to ensure risk mitigation and compliance with relevant Supply Chain policy and procedures is crucial in this position.

**About your new role**
- Deliver greater value for money from supplier negotiations through measurable bottom line cost reductions for transactions.
- Ensure all Supply Chain purchasing activities are performed within probity and complies with relevant procurement policy and procedure.
- Maintain pricing, catalogue and category strategy integrity via systems (i.e., Oracle, CHECK SCM, Converga).
- Ensure that risk mitigation and escalated issues management and resolution are communicated to relevant business stakeholders.
- Execute excellent stakeholder relationship management to achieve tactical sourcing and support the business in resolving any relevant enquiries.

**To be successful in this role you will have**:

- Proven ability to build strong relationships with various stakeholders; strong influencing and negotiation skills
- Strong background in supply chain, procurement, or category management with a comfortable knowledge of consumer and competition law
- Advanced strategic thinking, commercial awareness, and eye for business
- Proactive attitude with experience in a complex environment managing multiple priorities with the ability of working collaboratively to deliver results for multiple partners with competing demands
- Proven ability to influence people for continuous improvement and value creation initiatives
