Bartender

Opal Charters is seeking a skilled and customer-focused bartender to join our team on our luxury boats. As the bartender on board, you will be responsible for providing exceptional drink service to guests while ensuring their safety and enjoyment. This is a unique opportunity to work in a fun, dynamic environment on the water.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests on board the boat.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and fully stocked bar during cruises.
- Ensure all alcohol is served responsibly and in accordance with legal requirements and safety protocols.
- Engage with guests to create a warm, enjoyable atmosphere.
- Assist in setting up the bar before cruises and cleaning up after trips.
- Handle transactions and process payments accurately.
- Monitor guest consumption and address any potential issues with discretion.
- Collaborate with the crew to ensure smooth operations and excellent guest experiences.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a bartender, preferably in a fast-paced or outdoor setting.
- Knowledge of drink mixing, garnishing, and serving.
- Ability to work on a boat and adapt to weather conditions.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Responsible and reliable with attention to detail.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Comfortable working on the water for extended periods.

Pay: Up to $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 40 per week
