
Warehouse & Inventory Coordinator

As a Warehouse & Inventory Coordinator, you will have an opportunity to coordinate the movement of inventory throughout the Smithfield warehouse which includes the receipt and storage of all inbound materials (melamine, edge tape, bulk hardware, specialised hardware to the facility). This includes the board storage system and the our automated component storage system
**Job Role**
- Physically count and receipt the delivered goods correctly and accurately enter into our internal CRM system
- Physically move all inventory from the receiving trolley to the stocking location in the warehouse after receipt into the CRM system
- Maintain stock locations and stock levels and adjust as usage increases or decreases to ensure stock levels are accurately maintained
- Transfer delivered melamine into correct stacks to ensure they can be imported into the storage system
- Perform quarterly stock takes of all edge tape and disposal of anything surplus to requirements
- Manage specially ordered hardware
- Strapping of melamine tops for Melbourne or any other interstate deliveries
- All unloading and loading of trucks which arrive daily
- Check the melamine delivered for the correct quantities, thickness and colour against the delivery dockets provided by suppliers
- Strapping of cover sheets for the prompt return to suppliers
- Strapping of any excess melamine that is due for return to suppliers and organised by the Planning team
- Special hardware deliveries - mark the parcels or boxes and who these are to be given to
- Special deliveries - to be updated in CRM system
- Clear the receiving trolley daily, ensuring everything is received and moved into the correct location

- Experience in warehousing and standard inventory practices.
- Forklift / Stacker operation certification.
- Basic computer skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work with a friendly but results-driven team.
- Willingness to take ownership and work effectively in an autonomous environment, be held accountable and achieve a good outcome for all stakeholders.
- Ability to physically lift, carry, and move heavy boxes.
