**About us**

Jocelyn's Provisions is a highly acclaimed wholesale bakery, located in Albion, Brisbane. We make a range of hand-shaped sourdoughs, baguettes, croissants and more.

Due to the expansion of the wholesale side of the business are looking for an **experienced full-time baker** to work within a small team of professionals.

You will be working in a large **air-conditioned bakery,**which is furnished with the best equipment and facilities.

**Qualifications & experience**
- Min. 2 years full-time experience as a qualified baker.
- **Consistency and flare for sourdough and other specialty bread making**:

- A desire to work with high quality ingredients
- **Above average workplace speed and accuracy**:

- The ability to work unsupervised and also within a close knit team
- **Night shifts and weekend work applies (10pm starts)**:

- Experience with hand moulding doughs with high hydration

**Senior Baker - Tasks & Responsibilities**
- Oversee the production of high hydration, slow ferment sourdough, ensuring consistent quality and flavour.
- Prepare a variety of artisan breads, including baguettes, dark rye, ciabatta, and others, maintaining high standards of craftsmanship.
- Occasionally create viennoiserie items such as croissants, Danish pastries, and other baked goods, showcasing a range of skills.
- Manage inventory for all baking ingredients, ensuring freshness and quality while minimising waste.
- Train and mentor apprentices and bakers.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, maintaining a clean and organised workspace.
