Early Childhood Educator Long Day Care Service

We are recruiting for **Childcare Educators **on a **Casual basis **to join our team at SCUH Early Learning Service based in **Birtinya, QLD.**

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

Your main responsibilities as a Childcare Educator will be supervising and interacting with the children, setting up activities and ensuring each one of our families feel welcome at our service.

**Additional responsibilities of this role include (but not limited to)**:

- Nurture, care and educate children from birth to 5 years of age
- Work collaboratively with fellow educators to develop and implement inspirational educational programs to the children
- Identifying and documenting children’s learning and development
- Using innovative strategies to create a friendly, stimulating and interactive learning environment
- Develop trusting and honest relationships with children, families, colleagues and community stakeholders
- Ensure compliance of EYLF and NQS
- Flexibility with the ability to be available at short notice
- Weekday availability

**It is essential to have the following**:

- Demonstrated experience in early childhood education
- Certificate III or actively 'studying towards'.
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificate or willingness to obtain.
- Willingness to undertake the Y mandatory Child Protection Training
- Have a current Working with Children's Check or willing to obtain
- COVID 19 Vaccinations
