Comax Australia is an exciting creative design business based in Kelvin Grove, QLD Australia who design and manufacture their own collection of commercial and domestic products. Working closely with the Architecture and Design industry, their cutting edge designs range from joinery to upholstered furniture. Comax is nationally distributed and recognized internationally.

**About the Role**

The successful applicant must have a keen interest in timber work and/or upholstery. Prior experience is highly valued. Work hours will be 7am-3:30pm, Monday to Thursday, and 7am-1pm Friday.

Applicants must be Australian citizens or have permanent residency status.

**Skills**
- Ability to use hand tools
- An eye for detail
- Good communication and people skills
- Good organization skills
- Problem solving ability
- Be a team player
- Have a positive and self-motivated attitude
- Physically fit to lift pieces of furniture
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Experience upholstery would be an advantage

**Duties**
- Assemble furniture
- Liaise with Production Manager regarding the priority of the jobs
- Time frames: you will be responsible to meet deadlines
