**The Opportunity**

We are seeking talented **Finance & Accounting Graduates**to commence in July 2025. Graduates will join the Boeing Defence Australia Graduate Program in Brisbane in a permanent full-time position, providing a solid career foundation from day one.

Our Finance professionals play a key role in guiding critical business decisions and cutting-edge solutions for the world's leading aerospace company. The work that Boeing does contributes to aviation and aerospace products, technologies and services that make a difference in the lives of people around the world.

As a **Finance & Accounting Graduate**you will:

- Conduct thorough analyses of project costs and budgets to ensure accurate forecasting and financial planning.
- Leverage accounting tools such as Oracle ERP, IBM TM1, Deltek Cobra, or Excel to track project expenses and generate detailed financial reports.
- Assist in the preparation and posting of journal entries, perform account reconciliations to verify the integrity of financial statements and project ledgers, identifying discrepancies and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
- Oversee the invoicing process for projects to ensure timely and accurate billing, while maintaining compliance with contractual agreements and financial regulations.
- Present complex financial information to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner, supporting informed decision-making.
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team in a conscientious and inclusive manner to support project objectives and enhance financial outcomes.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and support the audit process by gathering necessary documentation and data, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
- Help with accounts payable payment audits by preparing documentation, verifying transactions, and ensuring timely processing of payments to vendors in accordance with financial regulations.

**Education**

Tertiary degree qualification in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics or Commerce (or anticipated graduation before July 2025)

**Eligibility**

Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet Defence security requirements.

While the Graduate Program has defined learning objectives and a structured framework, your individual journey will be tailored in collaboration with your manager, shaped by business needs and your personal professional development goals. To enhance your exposure and learning, you will remain within one business unit for the entire duration of the program, allowing you to immerse yourself in team dynamics and project work. Over these 24 months, you will not only acquire the technical skills necessary for your role but also develop the interpersonal skills that are vital for a fulfilling career.
