**About Your Role: Ground Training Instructor**

We have an exciting opportunity for **a Ground Training Instructor - Aviation Warfare to join our high-performing and passionate avionics team. **In this role, you will deliver training and assessment, as well as developing and updating training materials. Based at HMAS Albatross, Nowra, this pivotal role will see you training future ADF helicopter aircrew in the fundamentals of aviation warfare.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Undertake/ assist in the development of innovative and flexible training and assessment material
- Lead and coordinate the delivery of Aviation Warfare Officer, Navy Pilot, Navy Aircrewman and Unmanned Aerial Vehicle tactical training within the Joint Helicopter School (JHS)
- Assist in the delivery and/or coordination of delivery of all other training and assessment events for Synthetic Training Devices
- Supervise, coordinate, mentor and monitor the performance of trainees undertaking training
- Undertake and/or assist in the development or conduct of training evaluation and validation activities
- Undertake and/or assist in the development or conduct of training analysis, design and development activities.
- Provide an equitable and accessible training and assessment environment for all training customers and participants

**How About You?**
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE 40116) or equivalent
- Qualified Observer/AvWO Instructor or equivalent
- Vocational experience as an ADF Military Flying Training Instructor
- Demonstrated experience in the Military Helicopter or Maritime technical domain
- Solid experience in MS Suite
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously and part of a team
- AGSVA NV1 Security Clearance
