**_Are you a final year Speech Pathology or Occupational Therapy student, or a qualified AHA (Cert IV) wanting real world paid experience in the disability sector or to further your AHA career?_**

**_ We have a Therapy Assistant position available in the ACT, on a casual basis._**

**About the Position**
- Deliver therapy programs to our clients under instruction and guidance of a qualified Allied Health Professional. Therapy programs will include individual and group therapy programs for clients, in an individual and family centred model of practice.
- Receive regular support from our therapists in person and also remotely.
- Position to be based in both centre and community.
- Support our clients and their families to achieve their therapy goals with OT and Speech programs.
- Further your experience in the fast growing disability sector, whilst receiving ongoing and careful support from our Allied Health Professionals
- Be a champion for our customers and support them to achieve their goals and independence

**Key Requirements**
- Allied Health students currently studying an allied health degree (e.g. SP, OT, DT, PT) living locally, perhaps studying externally - or; Certificate IV in Allied Health,
- Valid WWVP card
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Current drivers license and access to a vehicle
- Well-developed interpersonal skills and an understanding of the importance of professional boundaries and scope of practice
- Capacity to assist in all duties and be confident to do so autonomously.
- General computer skills
- A high level of energy & enthusiasm towards the work you do
