**About the position**

The Scots College is an innovative and creative teaching and learning environment for boys T-12. We pride ourselves on our quest for excellence, our faith and tradition and a culture of leadership through teams for both our students and staff.

This is a permanent full-time position. The position will be 5 days per week Monday to Friday 6:30am to 3pm. The Scots College occasionally requires employees to work after hours to finish projects or carry out Facilities and Maintenance tasks.

**Essential to this role**
- Hold a Current NSW Drivers Licence
- Hold a OHS White Card or Certificate
- Have a minimum Certificate 3 in horticulture parks and gardens or 5 years’ experience in garden maintenance
- Ability to use Grounds machinery
- Demonstrate commitment to the development of ‘best practice’ in all aspects of Facilities and Maintenance operations
- Be a confident and collaborative team player and have the ability to work without direct supervision
- Demonstrate professional and personal integrity both on and off site
- Take pride in the visualisation of the Grounds

**Desirable to the role**
- Chainsaw Licence
- ChemCert AQF3
