As an Automotive **Apprentice Technician** at **Melville Volkswagen and LDV**, you will receive comprehensive training and hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance and repair. You will work under the guidance of experienced technicians and gain the knowledge and skills needed to excel in the automotive industry.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist senior technicians with vehicle inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs.
- Learn to use advanced diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Follow work orders and ensure all tasks are completed to high standards.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and explaining repairs and maintenance.
- Document all work performed and parts used in repair orders.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction.

**Qualifications**:

- High school certificate or equivalent.
- Strong interest in the automotive industry and vehicle mechanics.
- Basic knowledge of automotive systems and components is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced technicians.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver’s licence.
