Absolute Therapy Supports is looking for passionate final year occupational therapy students to work with our participants in the NDIS sector. You will be supported by our clinicians who will supervise and mentor you. Hours are flexible, as we understand you may have exams and assignments, however there is plenty of work available if suited to your schedule. _**We are looking to invest in your skills, and upon completion of your Occupational therapy degree and performance review, we will offer you a part-time or full-time (depending on your availability) permanent salary position with us as an Occupational therapist with a starting salary of $80,000 plus extra billing, plus travel.**_ You will join us as an Allied Health Assitant until the completion of your degree upon which you will be provided with the above. Our therapy assistants support those living with disability, providing change, improvement and care to participants so that they can enjoy a better quality of life.

Absolute Therapy Supports is a growing NDIS provider based in Western Sydney. We aim to provide holistic, multidisciplinary supports using a 'Client-focused' approach. The goal is for our clients to enjoy the maximum possible benefit from our services offered so that they can gain improved functional capacity and improved daily living. We are passionate providers, working together with stakeholders, committed to regular and ongoing training and skill improvement, as well as access to assessment tools and resources.

Our clients span across the lifespan and across the CALD community. We are rapidly growing, with further opportunities ahead. Our positions are currently mobile and work from home, allowing for control over schedule and travel pay; however an office is available for clients who need-so. In our current expansion, we will be securing an additional office space within the Bankstown region over the next few months.

Benefits of joining the team
- **Upon completing your degree, you will immediately be offered a permanent full-time/part-time salary position as an Occupational therapist on a starting salary of $80,000 plus travel reimbursement and mentoring. On top of that, if you do more than 20 billable hours per week, you will earn $90 per additional billable hour (e.g. 25 hours of billing means an extra $450 that week)**:

- We don't ever set a minimum billable KPI on our employees, this is to avoid toxic work environments, your mental health is priority

- A multidisciplinary team support inclusive of psychology, speech pathology, occupational therapy, dietician, support co-ordination etc
- Access to training materials as well as assessment tools
- Access to a professional database to help with organising appointments, notes, reports etc

Job Role
- You would be providing therapy assistance to NDIS participants across the lifespan. You will be supported by a senior practitioner throughout the whole process. We have a varied caseload with an opportunity to meet many wonderful participants from all walks of life
- To be part of a multidisciplinary team to help provide holistic supports
- To provide quality services to participants at their homes, schools, childcare centres, our new clinic opening in a few weeks, etc as organised between yourself and the participant

Qualifications & experience

Essential
- Studying an Occupational therapy degree
- Strong communicative and interpersonal skills
- Valid Driver’s License and access to a vehicle or willing to use public transport
- Working with Children Check and Police Check or eligible to apply

Desirable
- Experience working with NDIS participants
