What’s the opportunity?

Our Surry Hills café showcases the very best coffee and hospitality experience and we are on the hunt for a new team member to join our Surry Hills team on a casual basis, working 15-25 hours across 3-4 shifts. Availability on a Thursday, Friday, and Saturday are essential. You may be an experienced barista looking to join a business that can accelerate your coffee career or a someone with a passion for customer service looking to get into hospitality and specialty coffee.

Our newest team member is passionate about coffee and customer service and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

**In this role you will**:

- Continually push the quality benchmark of coffee served;
- Provide the best in customer service, including greeting and serving customers and helping with the day-to-day tasks that help keep our café performing at its best e.g. open and close procedures for the coffee machine and area.
- Work with top-of-the-range equipment and coffee;
- Share knowledge and educate the customer regarding all thing's coffee through retail sales and demonstrations;
- Take orders, and deliver beverages in line with Veneziano Coffee Roasters (VCR) professional standards;
- Join a collaborative and supportive team where no task is too big or too small for anyone.

**About you**:
We'd love someone with at least a year of previous relevant experience (especially if you've worked as a barista or in specialty coffee), but most importantly we want someone with the right attitude.

The Café will be open 7 days; availability to work a mixture of weekdays and weekends is preferred.
