**About the role**

The News Customer Support (NCS) Training and the Capability Leader will be responsible for ensuring NCS provides a quality learning experience for its inductions and enhancement in overall capability over an 8-month period.

**Role responsibilities**
- Own and manage NCS quarterly/annual training calendar
- Review, develop, and maintain training material
- Facilitation and coordination of onboarding experience
- Run and facilitate induction and ongoing ad hoc training based on training schedule
- Evaluate and track the competency level of individual trainees and provide feedback
- Work with key stakeholders and Culture and Capability team to conduct TNA and determine optimal actions
- Collaborate with support team and leadership to ensure team improvements
- Keep up-to-date attendance and other training records
- Part of the NCS Quality Team; participating in competency-based quality assurance and influencing exceptional customer service

**About you**
- Excellent written and verbal communication, documentation and computer skills, presentation, and public speaking skills
- Comfortable presenting in front of groups is a must
- Ability to explain complicated concepts to others in ways they can understand
- A self-starter who takes pride in their work
- Adaptable and accepting of a changing environment
- An excellent listener with the ability to communicate with a variety of people
- Genesys and Salesforce knowledge desirable but not essential
- Effectively collaborated with individuals from diverse backgrounds and foster an inclusive and respectful work environment
