We currently have a 12-month fixed-term opportunity for a manager to join our Internal Audit team supporting Audit supporting our Personal Bank, UBank and Enterprise Operations portfolio, where you will oversee the planning, execution, and reporting of a small simultaneous portfolio of Audit activity as set out in the Audit Charter and the annual Audit Plan.

***Key responsibilities will include**:

- Providing timely feedback and coaching to colleagues to promote a performance and development culture.
- Managing a small portfolio of concurrent audits (2-4) within agreed resource and time budgets.
- Contributing to Annual and Dynamic Planning as directed.
- Providing strategic guidance to audit team leads on scope (risks and hypotheses) and approach, including completion of advanced pre-planning in partnership with the Delivery Head of.
- Supporting team leads to create succinct and clear audit assignment plans that reflect agreed scope as per Audit’s plan.
- Drafting succinct and clear audit reports.
- Socialising audit report content with business contacts and manage negotiation to audit report finalisation.
- Resolving audit delivery issues escalated by audit team leads and escalate where they cannot be directly solved.
- Coordinating verification of audit raised issues within internal SLA targets once the business indicate issues are closed, ensuring this is supported by quality workpapers.

**To be successful in the role you will have**:

- Solid understanding of various risk types spanning multiple areas of the bank
- Advanced leadership, mentoring and coaching skills
- Substantial experience with stakeholder engagement and management
- Profound experience in industry risk-based functions or assurance professional service firms.
- Tertiary qualified, preferably with Tertiary qualifications in Business, Finance or IT.
