About the Role
The Assistant in Nursing (AIN) assists and supports the Registered Nurse (RN) in the provision of direct/indirect person-centred care and Renal Dialysis Unit duties as required. The AIN is responsible for providing nursing care in a professional, safe and compassionate manner as a member of the Renal Dialysis Unit healthcare team according to their education, competence levels. The AIN role in the Renal Dialysis Unit is a support role predominately contributing to the preparation and routine maintenance of dialysis machines and providing supervised direct comfort cares to patients during their treatments. This role also includes clinical supply management and assisting with maintenance requests to Biomedical Technology Service
