**Join the Board of Cire Services - Make a Difference in Your Community**

Cire Services, one of Melbourne’s largest and most respected not-for-profit Education and Community Services providers, is seeking **four** passionate and experienced board members to help guide our mission of empowering individuals and strengthening communities.

**About Cire Services**
Cire has experienced rapid growth over the past five years, with a strategic growth plan in place. This expansion has created an exciting opportunity for four new Board Members to join our team.

We deliver flexible learning opportunities, education, and training across the Yarra Ranges, Maroondah, Casey, and Cardinia LGAs, servicing a diverse community. Our core services include:

- ** Cire Community School**: A registered independent school providing upper primary and secondary curriculum to disengaged students in an alternative school environment;
- ** Cire Early Learning**: Supporting children’s services through long day-care and preschool programs;
- ** Cire Training**: A Registered Training Organisation (RTO) offering accredited, pre-accredited, work skills, and leisure courses;
- ** Community Hubs**: Bringing people together to connect, learn, and contribute through social, educational, recreational, and support activities.

**What We’re Looking For**
- Credentials in Board Governance (e.g., AICD or similar programs).
- Prior Board Experience to bring valuable insights and leadership.
- A strong alignment with our Mission, Vision, and Values.
- The time and commitment to attend monthly Board meetings in Lilydale and represent the Board at Cire events.
- A deep sense of accountability to our community, employees, volunteers, clients, and their families or carers/guardians.
- Exceptional communication, emotional intelligence (EQ), and interpersonal skills.
- Certifications such as a Working with Children Check and National Police Check (or willingness to obtain these).

To support our recent and projected growth, we are particularly seeking Directors with expertise in one or more of the following areas:

- Education
- Finance
- Strategy and Policy
- Philanthropy
- Community
