**The Opportunity**

We are looking for an experienced and professional Executive Assistant to join the Ventures Lead and other execs across our Ventures hub.

This is a fixed term, part-time opportunity, and is responsible for providing high-quality, timely, professional and practical administrative support in a fast-paced and highly regulated work environment.

This team is currently trialling a nine day fortnight, which means putting tools down to use the time to focus on something to improve your personal health and wellbeing.

**_ Looking for flexibility?_** This is a part-time role that lets you spread your hours over the week, making it easier to balance work with life’s other priorities.

**Day to day, this role would see you**:

- Deciding if your day is best spent working from home or in the office - we don’t go for mandated office attendance days here at Medibank. Though you may want to spend time in our new office - we think it’s pretty amazing
- Act as a point of contact for the Senior Executives, including responding to urgent enquiries on their behalf including follow-up with relevant team members and other business units.
- Prepare agenda and minutes of meetings, for Leadership meetings, offsites, key stakeholder meetings and governance meetings.
- Maintain an awareness of the Business Unit’s operational issues/problems/opportunities and identify and implement solutions in conjunction with team managers.
- Co-ordinate and consolidate monthly and ad hoc reports to the Board, committees and leadership teams, as required.
- Taking some time to recharge your batteries and encouraging others to do the same - you might grab a takeaway coffee and head out for a walking meeting with a team member, get along to a lunchtime yoga class or log off early and catch up with a friend to recharge your social battery.

**What about you?**

This role would be a perfect match for a delivery focused, organised and proactive Executive Assistant, with solid experience developed in a large corporate organisation with both project and operational responsibilities. A pro at juggling and pivoting, you’ll be comfortable managing several priorities and people concurrently. You will need to be confident to reach out to stakeholders at all levels of the organisation to assist in meeting deadlines and gathering intel as needed.

You’ll need to be a whizz with MS Office suite (in particular word processing abilities) and be comfortable using new and emerging technologies and online collaboration tools (e.g. Teams, Skype, etc). Confidentiality is key in this role, as you will be dealing with sensitive and commercial in confidence information on a daily basis.
