Telco Receptionist - Moruya
About the Role
The Telco Receptionist is responsible for greeting internal and external customers/visitors, helping them navigate through the telecommunications office and performing a broad range of administrative tasks in this fast-paced environment.
What you’ll be doing:
- Meet and greet customers and centre visitors and provide exceptional customer service, always maintaining a professional and courteous demeanour- Managing the reception/office area, ensuring it is clean and organized- Handling incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries- Providing administrative support to other departments as needed, such as vendor and office services management- Managing office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary- Coordinating appointments and meetings, including scheduling, sending reminders, and setting up meeting rooms- Coordinating office theme days such as morning teas and lunch events- Assisting with general office duties, such as filing, scanning, and data entry- Assisting with other duties as assigned by the Telco Manager or supervisor
About You
What you’ll bring to the table:
- Demonstrated experience working in a reception and/or administrative role within a similar environment- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Professional demeanour and appearance- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other office equipment- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise responsibilities- Attention to detail and strong organizational and time management skills- Familiarity with basic office procedures and protocols- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
