**Position Description: eCS Health Patient Advocate**

The eCS Health Patient Advocate (‘PA’) is a key position that provides knowledge, support, and guidance to internal staff.

The role requires skills in providing care to patients, collecting qualitative and quantitative data for research and medical care purposes, understand patients, build strong relationships, and support them to optimise their experience through excellence in ‘customer service’. Additionally, capacity for flexibility, compassion and initiative is critical to improve patient outcomes, patient experience, and data collection.

**The Opportunity**

We have an opportunity for an eCS Health PA. This will be mostly remote, with occasional requirement to travel or attend the workplace in Bayswater. The salary would be $56,000 per annum pro-rata plus superannuation.

You will be responsible for the following activities, as delegated by the Director of eCS Health including:

- Collecting qualitative and quantitative data with patients.
- Provide patient support, information on clinic processes and medication.
- Manage patient experience and expectations.
- Learn and understand a breadth of knowledge relating to cannabinoid treatments and communicating this information to patients.
- Support patient titration and advise patients to help them get the most from their treatment.
- Monitor and report clinic KPIs.
- Collaborate on marketing projects, IT user-testing, and problem-solving in a variety of projects.

**Successful Applicant**

To be successful an applicant would:

- Be able to work flexibly, from home and travel for short periods of time.
- Have a high level of initiative and self-motivation.
- Display entrepreneurial spirit, be able to determine a strategy for success, identify potential issues and execute without guidance or previous models to inform implementation. Experience in a start-up preferrable.
- Embrace a mindset of collaboration, sharing & learning.
- Have confidence using IT programs and learning new ones.
- Must be well-groomed and match dress code appropriate to the situation, task and activity at hand.
- Be detail-oriented and possess a high level of accuracy when communicating and understanding concepts.
- Have experience in a role focussed on customer interaction, such as a sales role or similar.
- Have experience working with patients with chronic conditions in a clinic and/or research setting.
- Maintain a high level of compassion, integrity, and ethics.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with specific consideration for the audience ability and understanding.
- Must be able to maintain composure in difficult conversations, listen and speak with empathy and compassion and preferably have experience in dealing with difficult patients.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 16-36 per week

**Salary**: $28.00 per hour
