**About us**

The Bridge Incorporated is a progressive and innovative community based organisation that provides a variety of support services to individuals with disability as well as young people from disadvantaged backgrounds from various locations in Melbourne's south-east and Peninsula.

The Bridge operates a Warehouse in Dandenong that has a large and diverse workforce, with a focus on providing employment opportunities for people with a disability, and is currently in the process of opening up a second warehouse to provide even more work opportunities These warehouses feature numerous process lines on which the team operate and complete various aspects of production.

**What are we looking for?
We are currently on the look out for a skilled Process Worker and Forklift Driver to join our new warehouse in Dandenong This dual role will encompass completing process work on one of the various production lines in operation, involving assembly and packaging duties, as well as operating the forklift to transport and maintain stock within the facility

**Requirements for the role**

To be successful in this role, you would:

- Hold a valid forklift license and have experience operating the machine
- Be capable of reading and understanding production documentation and safety manuals
- Be able to understand and utilise basic math for problem solving
- Be an effective communicator and have well developed reading and writing skills
- Be willing to comply with all safety guidelines at all times
- Be physically capable of manual labour that includes lifting, bending, and manual tasks of a repetitive nature
- Be able to perform manual tasks of a repetitive nature, as well as work duties involving lifting and standing for long periods of time.
- Be reliable and punctual
- Have a positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
- Previous experience within the disability sector, or within individuals with a disability, would be advantageous
- Possession of a Level 2 First Aid Certificate would be advantageous
