Storeperson - Team Leader High Value Wine

Grays currently has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Storeperson to join the motivated, friendly, customer focused and hardworking Warehouse team at Grays in Wetherill Park. You’ll be working to receive, handle, locate and pick goods within a team that is safety focused and committed to working together and looking out for one another.

**In this role you will be responsible for**:

- Site contact to facilitate all daily operational workflow requirements.
- Managing a small team of 2 while.
- Ensuring deliveries are received, processed, and stored in a safe and correct manner.
- Booking in assets (high value wines and spirits) - ensuring descriptions and photographs are accurately captured.
- Maintaining accurate records and assisting with inventory and quality control.
- Labelling, putting away and transferring stock in line with established processes.
- Performing counts / stock takes as required & maintaining minimum consumable levels.
- Operating Manual Handling Equipment.
- Taking a proactive role in ensuring the health and safety of our colleagues and customers.
- Please note that this role does involve some heavy lifting._

**We’re looking for someone who has**:

- A positive, team and customer focused attitude.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A Forklift Licence
- A willingness to help with various ad hoc tasks as required.
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work with computers, cameras, basic stock management system and who has a basic level of Microsoft Office Suite experience.
- Experience/knowledge with **WINE** will be highly valued.
- Experience with processing returns would also be advantageous.
