Job Description

**Responsibilities**:
Assist the Store Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the supermarket.
Supervise and coordinate staff to ensure smooth and efficient store operations.
Manage inventory, ensuring stock levels are maintained and products are displayed attractively.
Ensure high standards of customer service are met and maintain a positive work environment.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally.
Implement and monitor promotional activities and sales targets.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Assist in the recruitment, training, and development of staff.
Perform cash handling and financial reporting duties.

**Qualifications**:
Proven experience as an Assistant Store Manager or similar role.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in inventory management and financial reporting.
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Knowledge of retail management software is a plus.
