About Role
An excellent opportunity exists for an EDM Spark Erosion Toolmaker for SODICK Machine.
Skilled & Good Mechanical Mindset
A Trade Qualification is desirable (Qualified toolmaker)
Able to read technical and engineering/tool drawings
Excellent team working, organisational and time management skills
Duties/Responsibilities
Fabricate tools and parts with machining methods as follows:
CNC Sodick & Charmille (Wire Cut & EDM)
2D and 3D computer aided design and manufacture software CAD/CAM
Surface grinding
Manufacture new tooling
Fitting, polishing, cutter sharpening
Conventional Milling and Lathe for making Electrode
Job Environment
Hourly rate negotiable depending on experience
Working hours: 38 hrs per week, Monday to Friday.
Immediate start - the position will become permanent full time following successful completion of a one-month probation period

Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- No weekends
