Fabrication Labourer

**About The Role**
- Cutting of steel, buffing, priming and painting fabricated steel members
- Set up and operate cutting equipment
- Maintain a safe, organised and clean factory and yard, including all equipment
- Load and unload transport trucks, inventory check listing, and store accordingly
- Fabrication of plates, cutting, operating drills and punch machines
- Assist and support fabrication and welding teams
- Operation of forklifts and overhead cranes
- Assist with deliveries and pick ups to site and suppliers as directed _(MR/HR Truck Licence highly regarded) _

**About You**
- Valid Forklift licence
- Drivers licence
- Hold a current White/Red Construction Card (not essential)
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Be organised and self motivated
- Strong reliability and attendance record
- Be willing to work overtime and weekends when required
- Ability to follow all company OH&S policies and procedures

Jack Engineering is a family-owned structural steel fabrication and installation company based on the Mornington Peninsula with 25 years’ experience specialising in bespoke projects for residential and commercial builds throughout Victoria. We work with several long-standing local builders, along with high end Melbourne based construction companies, with our core business in the fabrication and erection of structural steel, within residential and commercial type builds.

**NOTE**: A National Police Check and Working with Children Check is a requirement of this role.

**Salary**: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekend availability
