Apprenticeships Are Us is recruiting for a **Boiler Making Apprentice** that will cut, shape, assemble and weld steel to construct and repair metal products and structures for large automotive vehicles.

**What do Boiler Making apprentices do?**
- Studying drawings and specifications to determine suitable material, method and sequence of operations, and machine settings
- Fitting fabricated metal parts into products and assembling metal parts and subassemblies to produce machines and equipment
- Forming metal stock and castings to fine tolerances using machining tools to press, cut, grind, plane, bore and drill metal
- Diagnosing faults and performing operational maintenance of machines, and overhauling and repairing mechanical parts and fluid power equipment

**Essential Requirements**
- An interest in the automotive industry
- Be able to work in a dynamic, fast paced team environment
- Fit, reliable and desire to learn
- Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Licence/Certification:

- Drivers License (P1 or higher) (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
