We are seeking a diligent and proactive individual to join our team as a Cleaner within our manufacturing environment. The Cleaner will be responsible for ensuring cleanliness, sanitation, and overall tidiness within designated areas of our manufacturing facility. This role is crucial to maintaining a safe and hygienic working environment for our employees while upholding the standards of cleanliness required for efficient manufacturing operations.

Preferred working hours would be 10.00am to 6.30pm however we are open to negotiation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform routine cleaning tasks, including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting, to maintain cleanliness in designated manufacturing areas.
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas to ensure they meet hygiene standards and are comfortable for employees.
- Dispose of trash and recycling materials appropriately, ensuring compliance with waste management regulations.
- Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and equipment as needed to ensure uninterrupted cleaning operations.
- Identify and report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or cleanliness concerns to the appropriate personnel for prompt resolution.
- Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure all areas are cleaned efficiently and effectively.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while performing cleaning tasks to minimize the risk of accidents or injuries.
- Collaborate with other team members and departments as needed to support overall cleanliness and organization within the manufacturing facility.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor when interacting with employees, visitors, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in commercial or industrial cleaning preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals used in a manufacturing environment is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting and moving heavy objects.
- Excellent communication skills and a cooperative attitude towards working with others.
- Flexibility to work non-standard hours or overtime as needed to accommodate production schedules or special cleaning requirements.
