Data Quality Manager

Come and join our team, focused on supporting our Group Data Teams to implement and/or uplift consistent, scalable, and sustainable Data Quality measurement & monitoring practices.

We are looking for a delivery-oriented Data Quality Management professional who can build and maintain strong relationships with data and technology stakeholders across multiple business groups and enable them to effectively implement enterprise data quality management standard by providing pragmatic advice. This includes ensuring quality requirements are well defined, governance is in place to review and approve those requirements, data quality rules and/or controls are implemented across the data lifecycle to manage those quality requirements and the data quality breaks and issues are resolved in a timely manner.

In this role, you will be required to provide an assurance function and report on the health of business data to the governance forums. Liaise with business stakeholders for timely remediation of gaps in data quality processes.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the group data teams to implement and uplift data quality measurement and monitoring capabilities.
- Ensure Data quality rules are captured within the enterprise governance repository (Collibra)
- Ensure accurate, regular, MI is produced to give visibility to executive forums like DQWG, DGC and EIMC on data quality measurement results across MGL, particularly for critical data elements (CDEs)
- Support BaU and change management processes corresponding to data quality measurement, monitoring and issue management capabilities
- Leverage and, where necessary, uplift the artefacts in place today to set clear “How to” guidance on good data quality management practices.
- Develop Data quality management guidelines to help group data teams manage quality of their data in a standard and consistent approach.

Key Skills
- 5+ years hands on experience working in Data Quality Management
- Strong communication, negotiation and delivery skills
- Experience defining data quality rules / business rules / data controls.
- Experience with Informatica IDQ, Dataiku, Alteryx, or similar data quality solutions.

Highly Regarded Skills
- Financial Services industry experience
- SQL
- Experience with data governance and metadata management tools (Axon, Collibra, IGC)
- Data visualisation tools (PowerBI, Tableau or similar)
- Exposure to / experience of operational risk management
